Where is this “fundamental commitment” enshrined? I’ve scoured the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence and a host of the nation’s other framing documents and I don’t find any such language in any of them. When did we take on the obligation of providing succor to every pest-ridden dust-monger who was unhappy in his third-world hovel?

How strange? Israel defends her borders, builds walls, aggressively deports illegal immigrants and doesn't take refugees from Islamic states. You would think they would be a model for the ADL.
