The Obama administration is fighting a growing national backlash against accepting Syrian refugees, saying the government’s exhaustive screening process and security checks for new arrivals mean they can be safely brought to American soil.
Several high-level administration officials have warned in recent months just how challenging this can be. While they say U.S. security measures are much better than in the past, vetting Syrian refugees poses a quandary: How do you screen people from a war-torn country that has few criminal and terrorist databases to check?

Seriously, all I've ever seen in most of the Syrian refugee pictures are males of combat fighting age.

I would like to bring the people who did the exhaustive research before the House and let them present their findings. This should be part of Ryan’s reset.
A good place to start might be by using some of the same methods Muslim terrorists employ when deciding which hostages to kill.
Ask them to quote a few well-known Bible passages. Refuse those who fail.
Exclude any men ages 15-50 unless accompanied by women and/or children.
See who will eat a pork Slim Jim when offered.
See who will pet a pot-bellied pig standing guard at the door.
See who will wipe their feet on a mat with a Koranic verse.
Come on. You have nothing to worry about. After all, they did vet the Tsarnaev brothers, didn’t they?
I wouldn’t take the government’s word that day is light and night is dark. It can’t be trusted. Keep the Muslims out!

Screener: What’s your name.
Refugee: Mohammed.
Screener: Are you a terrorist ?
Refugee: No.
Screener: NEXT.
Sounds familiar. We won’t know what’s in it until it passes.
Going in on the blind didn’t work for health insurance and it sure won’t work in the case of importing terrorism.
That would go against Obama’s instincts to destroy the country.

OK - now, just how does one do a background check (vet) someone from a hostile country where records such as criminal, education, employment, etc. are available.
Well, they will probably check our “no enter” list maintained by INS or DHS and if the name is not there they are qualified as safe. However, there are probably tens of thousands of militant radical Muslims taught from birth to hate America who do not appear on the list. This not the time to bring anyone from the “evil axis” countries into the USA,
correction: where records such as criminal, education, employment, etc. are NOT available
