I agree.
Huge Cruz supporter here, but that statement comes across strongly as “hey, this guy who dropped out and I think a lot alike on many things - VOTE FOR MEEEE!”.
I’d like Ted to win the ‘nom and have donated to his campaign, but the transparency does not reflect well on him or anyone playing this very obvious / blatant card.
