Folked up diplomacy: A week late, John Kerry and James Taylor remind France "You've Got a Friend"
By Doug Powers | January 16, 2015
The Obama administration didn't send a high level official to the rally in Paris last Sunday (the president was of course unaware of what was going on), and John Kerry showed up today with an apology and an offering:
Kerry brings singer to Paris presser to play "You've Got a Friend" after US no-show at rally
What, no Joan Baez? If ISIS wasn't on the run before that, they will be now.
Joanie used to run with those morons until she visited Hanoi during the Christmas bombing. Then she got the picture listening to French Communists gloating over falling B-52s from a safe distance while Dick Nixon pounded the politburo thugs into giving us back our captive aviators. (They still kept some, we should have given them some more tonnage.)
Baez drifted away from the KGB-led Left after that, repelled by the smallness of our enemies. "Gunner" Fonda kinda halfway got it but never could find her way clear to apologize for consorting with the enemy. Which leaves Lurch. Unrepentant, working for America's most odious _Resident, who glories in every noncitizen moment he pollutes our highest office and loots our national treasury for his Communist sponsors and jihadi beaux ideals, Lurch will set a new benchmark in stink for every Yankee politician who comes after him.
