The terrorists seem to be French and Belgium citizens.

It’s always amazing how they can track these people’s every move - all after the fact. WTF?

It’s called 20-20 hindsight .... unfortunately. Easier to follow the trail of crumbs than hack through the bushes when no previous trail exists.

Does it really matter who brought up that “Trojan Horse” issue? The fact is, who ever said or thought it, they were dead on. Not to sound presumptuous, I thought that same thing long ago. I DO NOT and WILL NEVER trust any of them. They have been brain washed and trained their entire life to hate Americans. extending the hand of "hope" by bringing them here will not change that one bit.

Does it really mean anything when someone states the obvious. Infiltration by terrorists into the West has been noted for decades. He could have also added infiltration by terrorists with immigrants arriving daily into the United States.

I remember reading about terrorists sleeper cells in the United States in the nineties.

yeah big big difference mentioning possible infiltration during a senate subcommittee where nobody heard it years ago and today using a megaphone yelling it to the population on nationwide news shows, interviews and political rallies.. I do remember Cruz telling his audience it was in keeping with our American values that we accept refugees from foreign lands.. and I have only heard Trump say he’d deport them when he became President

“With a rebellion of the states 32 out of 50 refusing...”

32 out of 50 is not good enough. The only good count would be 50 out of 50.

It’s stupid to believe that these animals that have been allowed to live in the liberal other states would stay there.

There’s this thing called “highways” in our country where they only have to follow one to the sheep in one of the 32 who refused their entry.

Unless ALL states prevent their entry, the Muslim plague will still come to those who tried to prevent them from coming in the first place.

Maybe the difference between Trump and Cruz, is that Trump was able to LEAD with this issue, no matter who originated it. Trump obviously has the stronger voice, or Cruz would be frontrunner and setting the standard instead of Trump. Just my observation.

“The initiative needs to be slowed way down”

Slowed down? It needs to be ended permanently.

I keep noticing; the sentiment that keeps being pushed relentlessly, 24-7, is that the only purpose of the United States, its national goal, its reason for being, is to import as many immigrants as possible, as quickly as possible. It is urgent, it has to be done.

I heard Rubio being interviewed by Mark Levin. Immigration is all Rubio thinks about, that is all the Republican candidates, except Trump, think about. They will spend enormous amounts of time and energy fine tuning their ideas, and, like Shepherd Smith, envelope themselves in the purity that can only be obtained by condemning the racism that obviously exists in the minds of anyone who rejects their desire for massive, nation transforming, overwhelming immigration. Immigration so severe that the nation will quickly and forever lose its “American” identity.

It is utter insanity.

You’re confusing loudness with leadership.

By definition, Cruz led with it.

Obama (and his allies on the left) keep arguing that our vetting process is so much more thorough than Europe's, etc. But that totally misses the point. While our vetting process may be more thorough than Europe's -- I certainly hope it is, since by many accounts, it takes 18-24 months for a refugee to be resettled here (if they have that long to vet the refugees, I damn sure expect them to do so) -- that's irrelevant.

Even if our supposedly thorough process were capable of catching 99% of terrorists, that would still leave open the possibility of 100 terrorists coming in out of the 10,000 refugees. Heck, even if the process were 99.9% effective, that could still lead to 10 terrorists. And, as shown by the Paris attacks (and as well as nearly every other terrorist attack), a small number of terrorists can carry out devastating attacks. So, in order to work, our vetting process would need to be 100% effective. And nothing the government does, or has ever done, is 100% effective.

The obvious definition of a leader is one who has followers, who can inspire others to follow him. Cruz will have to prove this, and God willing, he will.

We didn't accept Japanese and German youth to attend our Universities and study science and weapon research during World War II either.

It's not prejudice - German-Americans and Japanese American fought in World War II... it was SANE.

Paul Ryan is attempting to protect American citizens NOT show elites he's a friggin 'citizen of the world'... or other puffed up elite crap.

LOL

I would refer you to Cruz’s Supreme Court victories as solicitor general of Texas, some of which had far-reaching implications for other states.

I would suggest you read up on his Senate campaign, when he was dismissed as a complete unknown and a sure loser.

I would direct you to read up on his time in Washington and his unending, and often solo, fight against the GOP.

But none of that interests you. You don’t want a proven leader and a solid Constitutional conservative. You want a Democrat who says things that make you feel good, without a single conservative accomplishment under his belt.

So you go right on and have fun. But remember that, if your definition of leadership is one who has followers, then a cult leader would also fall into that category.

He’s obsessed with Cruz as am I with a Trump/Cruz ticket. He doesn’t understand that most of us respect both candidates.

Maybe. So what’s your point? Isn’t it a good thing when there is positive and mutual agreement?

Cruz may have led with it but no one heard him. Rewind to pre-Trump’s announcement. Crickets.
