Odd, I have never seen a woman lose anything in a divorce. And he should have lost everything.

It is also possible the husband was cheating and covered his tracks by claiming to be tranny. His actions after divorce lend credence to this possibility. In either case he is a lowlife dog who every decent man should kick to the curb. Men are allowed by other men to get away with this garbage. It has got to stop.

Sexuality is more complex than what is depicted in romance novels. Throughout the ages, many if not most people have wondered at some point what it is like for the other sex.

I think for some this thought becomes linked to sexual desire, and the mind’s rationalization mechanisms develop an elaborate justification: God made a mistake.

In the end, the problem is that he put his desires and wishes above the needs of his wife.

Had he answered “No” to her two questions, would she have stayed with him?

She was broke so she took the first job that came her way. It happens. Smart people take the job and keep looking. At least at $10 an hour you can keep some fires small.

Bingo!
This is true of all narcissists, not just transgender ones.

They literally cannot survive without an adoring audience and they will go to any lengths to get one. If they cannot they will often kill themselves.

Nailed it.

He was cheating all along, bought the clothes for the other woman, and came up with the tranny thing to cover because he didn’t want to lose everything (seems it worked).

A few holes in the story. He couldn’t have relations with her because of his perversion, but he had no problem marrying a different woman and having a child with here.

And what about child support?

“He said that he identified with women in every way and that God had made him wrong.”

This really shows how narcissism is a big part of this disorder. They really assume that they know better than God what He intended them to be!

“But we are lectured by the liberals that we are bigoted if we don’t accept all this trans-whatever nonsense as “normal”.”

Anyone who thinks this is normal is insane, so just treat them like any other insane person.

Unless he has XX chromosomes, he’s not a “woman”.

What’s sicker than this man’s mental illness is that we live in a country that glorifies (and essentially worships) mental illness.

I had some lib go postal on me when I said that Jenner was mentally ill and that our society was depraved for surgically mutilating our mentally ill instead of helping them.

Liberals, always the most caring members of our society. /sarc

Why did she go from a business owner to a $10 an hour job?

The reason was that what she thought was a business was only a hobby and that she had no idea how to run a real income producing business.

It’s sad, but it’s true for I’ve seen this scenario play out many times with friends and acquaintances who were unaware of the actual costs of doing business and the profit required to pay their own way plus expenses, taxes and inventory...and still make a profit.

On top of that, each new customer you gain used to be your competition’s old customer. However, you have to work very hard to get that customer to come to you...and stay with you. To that end you have advertising costs added to all of the other business costs you have.

I built my business back in 1979 and learned from the school of hard knocks and experience how business really works. Since that time my business has weathered several oil depressions and still survives as a viable income producer today. The lessons learned were very valuable but the irony of today is these lessons are not taught to those entering into self employment today.

The lessons taught today are by way of business schools, colleges, self appointed experts, and those experts who have never actually started and produced a profitable business.

Without any doubt, the main reason a small personal business fails is due to a single word: SPECULATION. It’s kind of like a kid opening a lemonade stand: Set up the stand in your front yard, buy plenty of packets of lemonade and the sugar to go along with it, get your friends to help and join in on the profits, advertise with yard signs and finally open for business.

Believe me, I know from experience how the scenario next goes from experience.

How much do you charge? Well, about 20 cents a cup sounds right. After about 6 hours, 3 customers and most of the lemonade being consumed by yourself and your friends, you figure that the business is done for. You close up shop, lick your wounds and take a lesson from the school of hard knocks. Unlike classroom lessons, lessons learned from the school of hard knocks are never forgotten.

The failure was due to inexperience and SPECULATION. Many, many who start their own business will succumb to the lure of speculation rather than actually planning, calculating, listening to others who have been in their own businesses...not managers, supervisors or office workers...actual owners who have hands on experience and have actually taken the path one plans to take.

In conclusion to all of this babble I spew, I don’t think this woman actually had a viable business in the first place and that a lot of her story encompasses embellishment upon the actual facts.

Why did she go from a business owner to a $10 an hour job?

It was probably due to inattention caused by having to deal with her husband's problem. She may have lost a few key contracts with would be enough to lose it all.

Telling that it was OK to bring God into the situation by blaming Him for the husband’s issue. What was perceived as appropriate was the wife not mixing God into coping with the aftermath.

I want to give this poor lady a hug.

She deserves it. She did nothing to bring this on.

A sane society would give all marital assets to the lady.

I agree about the woman's business sense. She didn't have any clue about credit cards or the family's finances:

"Our bank account was being mysteriously depleted . . . " What? It may be only one spouse's responsibility to manage the budget and finances, but both spouses should have access to the checking and credit card accounts, and should log in occassionally, especially if they have questions about where the money is going.

"My husband wouldn't let me buy necessities like bras or panties . . . " How does this even happen?

"I called and had all of our credit card statements sent to me. As I carefully scrolled through each one, . . . " So did she have them 'sent' to her, or did she access them on line, as the word, 'scrolled' suggests.

The story is full of gaping holes. I do not doubt the man is a lout and a pig. She, however, is a vacuous dimwit. He snowed her with lies. She could have nailed his sorry ass to the barnyard door. Being nice and stupid both is a terminal condition.

Never mind. I would wager that he got tired (bored) of the
new wifey soon enough. Maybe had to go through the same
song & dance to get shed of her & the kids they produced.
What they call it? The Seven Year Itch? or what ever.

It was the great sewer of Rome.
