Bastiat’s “The Law”. The purpose of government is mutual self defense. It meshes very well with the purpose of society (and society and government are distinctly different). The purpose of society is to provide an environment for the selection of mates, and equally important to that outcome, the mutual protection of wombs.
Societies that learn to successfully protect their wombs are societies that thrive.
Successful societies didn’t fashion the notion that it’s the men who go to war because they didn’t think women could fight. No.
Men go off to war because if 80% of men die protecting the society, 100% of wombs will still be filled. This is why older men/younger women has been historically approved.
The purpose of society is to protect wombs.
And that’s why abortion is killing more than babies. It’s destroying society.
