I think the French hit some of the mostly empty IS buildings in the first round of air attacks this week.
The real question is how we could have given the French a whole list of targets, coordinates and all, in the last few days if we have been engaging ISIS - IOW, why the phuck were they still in existence - all it would have taken was 20-30 sorties a day of A-10s and AC-130s for a month or two, and there would have been no targets left that were worthy of being bombed.
