I hate to say it,. but that’s the way you do it.
Now, level Raqqa!
Agree. Nuke the bastards.
US military would never be allowed to do 1/1000 of that without every newspaper and Democrat congress critter going insane. Russians...No big deal.
Raqqa ia a city - this is a town. Different bombing logistics.
I came here to say “That’s how it’s done.”
Late again...
Collateral damage....
One is reminded of the devastation that was visited upon the German city of Dresden in the Second World War. Kurt Vonnegut described the aftermath in his novel “Slaughterhouse 5”.
Bomb until there is not one stone upon another, then go back and bomb the rubble to dust.
You know what would be a beautiful sight? A large group of Russian Bears and American B52s flying side by side and carpet bombing ISIS. Specter Gun Ships prowling the night sky, killing what needs to be killed. Russian Blackjacks and our B2 bomber raining down precision munitions. Repeat as necessary. As in World War II "my enemies enemy is my friend."
Precision bombing may not be so valuable an asset. By applying pressure to the civilian populace they may become more likely to overthrow the offending government.
Were there too few Dresdens in WWII?
*thatâs the way you do it.*
I am imaging the Russian pilots beginning their bomb runs to the music of Dire Straits Money for Nothing on this one.
