All of the Reps were against Obama's executive amnesties. I don't find Cruz working with Sessions on this issue as being all that remarkable. Far more telling for Cruz is the Steve King endorsement. I greatly respect and admire Steve King who along with Sessions have been the gold standard on immigration issues. I have worked with both of them on the issue.

I hope Cruz has had an epiphany. I support Trump because I believe he is more electable in the General Election, but I can live with Cruz, which is a big change for me. We must make sure that both stay in the running. Rubio and yes, Carson must be taken down.

I have been a Cruz donor since his announcement.

I also recognize that without the cash, the non-establishment candidate loses.

That’s why I’ve thought long and hard about Trump. I’ll support Trump/Cruz to give Trump a chance to be a leader and to give Cruz the ‘next in line’ shot at the White House.

Rep. Steve King's announcement to endorse Ted Cruz was a remarkable statement on several levels. Rep. King said, "I believe that Ted Cruz is the candidate who is the answer to my prayers - a candidate God will use to restore the soul of America." That is not your typical endorsement on policy agreements alone in my experience, but rather a strong signal to Evangelical Christians in his state of Iowa and elsewhere in the USA. It certainly got our attention in Texas.

Senator Sessions' communication director also issued a recent statement defending Cruz in his efforts to kill the Gang of Eight bill with poison-pill amendments confirming Sessions and Cruz coordinated the strategy together for that purpose. Sessions and Cruz are also collaborating together now to craft H-1B reform legislation.

There is no doubt in my mind that all three men are on the same page regarding immigration policy going forward.
