Leonard Peikoff's 80's speech...

Thank you for the heads up. Didn't know about it, so googled it, found it on the Ayn Rand institute website, and am now reading it. Funny thing, I have been saying the same thing for years, that Medicaid and medicare was the beginnning of the end. Government took over partially, and the "medical industry" got worse. So to "fix" the problem, they took it over entirely. Again, thanks for the reading suggestion. Nice to have ammo in my corner.

I’m glad you found it helpful. His father was a poor immigrant who put himself through medical school and surgical school. He became one of the top surgeons in Manitoba, but when Canada took over his clinic under Socialized Medicine, he moved and opened a practice in the still “free” medical system in America. There is nowhere left to go, and when my practice gets taken over under single payer, I’m quitting.
