I wonder if that's why they chose that name. Couldn't that make legal recourse a bit sticky?

I don't know, however it seems logical that it could. I have two LLCs for family businesses (professional licenses). I would think it would be a state registration issue. Our LLCs are strictly for PA. Unless the companies were bought out, I would think there would still be a legal entanglement here. Then again if I had Trump's money, I would immediately tie them up in court. It would be economical.

It would be cool if he could take them to court and get their money without hurting the little guys.

Trump’s gotta be steaming about this one.

He hasn’t said anything, but I bet he’s got the best mouthpieces on it as we write and deadly opp research going on as well.

The Trump brand name is registered and trademarked.

If they’re dumb enough to use it on their letterhead, they’ll be doing nothing but answering depositions in court for months and it’ll keep their cash tied up.

If they’re that dumb enough to invite an inevitable lawsuit.
