This has been gone over several times.
Even a leftist author at Salon said that the article about this was a hit piece.
Look a little farther down the list of posted articles. If Salon - a leftist rag - thinks it’s bogus you should too.
I agree. I am a supporter of Ted Cruz but the attacks on Trump by his own party are sleazy and remind me of the way the democrat party attacks conservatives.
What the elites in the Republican Party (Mitch, ex Boehner, Jeb, Riebes and fellow travelers) do not understand is the Republican Party is no longer the tool of the elites. The GOPe has more in common with Pelosi and Reed than they do in their voter base. We are taking our party back!
Yes we all know it was a hit piece. The problem is Trump seems to think he has to respond to every question, and he is not adept enough yet to notice every little trap they set for him. In this case, he gave the news media 2 or 3 days to moan on about closing down mosques and creating a secret database for Muslims. Which gives his opponents 2 or 3 days to hammer him and paint him as a racist. And notice how Obama’s terrible response to the Paris attacks isn’t getting much attention anymore?
Trump needs to understand, while he is generally very media savvy, he is not perfect, and every media outlet, and the leadership of both parties, are out to get him and will do anything to take him down.
I’ve noticed today that those with a seething hatred can’t be convinced about what actually was said. It’s almost like if they say it enough, then it’s true. In their illogical, feeble minds, truth be damned. Why would anyone post an article from the gop-e website (National Review) on this website?
Pathetic attempts at humor is this piece as well. Cooke is way too heavy-handed a writer to be witty.
What, specifically, is “a hit piece” about this? Nothing. It’s accurate.
