Lol! They are nauseating, aren't they (yuppies). I lived in New York City all of my life and watched it become infested with these dopes. NYC today is basically one huge yuppie mono-culture, especially Manhattan. Gone are the days of different areas of NY having their own unique set of characteristics. For example, Little Italy has turned into "Yuppy Town". The original Italian residents have long since left. Landlords there are even trying to force out the restaurants with big rent increases. Many of the restaurants have already been forced to close, others are about to.
I left the NYC area in 1988 and have never returned. It was mostly to escape the yuppie culture. Everything became one big pretense.
