Russia ‘must change strategy’..if it wants to join ‘anti-ISIS’ coalition –State Dept
Russia Today, Moscow ^ | Nov 21 2015 | RT

Posted on 11/21/2015 8:56:12 PM PST by WilliamIII

Russia is not welcome to join the US-led coalition in Syria, as France has proposed, until it changes its “focus” and stops “propping up” President Assad, the US State Department said. Yet, Washington continues to insist their goal isn’t defeating Assad.

“If other nations not in the coalition [the US-led coalition] want to join it and become part of it and focus on the fight against ISIL [Islamic State/IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL] that’s a conversation we’re certainly willing to have,” US State Department spokesperson John Kirby said.

An appeal to expand the US-led coalition fighting Islamic State came from French President Francois Hollande three days after deadly attacks in Paris a week ago. Stating that “France is at war,” Hollande called for the creation of a “large coalition,” which could unite forces with Russia “to achieve a result that has taken too long.”

The grand coalition is going to be the focus of separate talks President Hollande will have with his American and Russian counterparts in coming days. The French leader is expected to hold talks in Washington on November 24 and in Moscow on November 26.

However, the US State Department says that Russia’s involvement in the coalition would depend on Moscow’s “commitment.”

“But in order for that to work, every member of the coalition has to have the same focus on defeating ISIL, and thus far we, talking about Russia, haven’t seen that same commitment,” Kirby said, referring to Russia’s support for the Syrian President Bashar Assad. “It’s inconsistent with the goals of the coalition, which is to defeat ISIL, if you’re also propping up the Assad regime.”

Russia is backing Assad.
The US is helping Iran become a nuclear power.

Who is guilty of the greater crime?

“.....State Department spokesperson John Kirby said.”

This quisling used to be an admiral in the US Navy. Our military leaders from WWII wouldn’t waste their time pi$$ing on guys like Kirby! It must be awful to have to swap your Navy uniform for some kneepads in order to keep your retirement benefits!. Our past naval leaders wouldn’t have done what Kirby has.

Obama’s nasty and hard-nosed anti-ISIS campaign consists largely in sending them weapons, thus luring them into an Obama trap.

It’s just silly to still be addressing Assad. That ship has sailed.

ISIS is the issue at hand, and Obama is still fighting lazt year’s battle.

What a moron.

It’s hard to stop laughing at farcically ridiculous delusional insane statements like this coming out of “our” government. Tragic, very definitely so. But hilarious ( in a very dark way) too. Putin probably has had to tell his staff to stop sending him updates out of Washington, D.C. He has work to do He can’t be rolling on the floor all day laughing

This is how people who were raised by kindergarten teachers think, sound, and act. Putin knows it and laughs.

To go back to a point I made in a prior post, it is obvious why world leaders don’t respect the United States President and the people he has appointed to assist him. While Obama and his “staff” are adults by chronological age, they don’t speak like adults, they don’t think like adults, and they don’t act like adults. We have a nation being led by the intellectual equivalents of Beavis and Butthead.

By the time the US finds some way to admit Russia into the coalition, Russia will have already reduces much of ISIS-held Syria to rubble.

Americans will be shocked when they finally realize screed like this is propaganda for the low information citizenry. We are not part of the coalition and never have been. We are not allied with Syria, we’ve stood against them since the beginning. Against Egypt, against Libya, anywhere that protests happened, there stood America cheering them on.

The Obama regime keeps saying there’s a coalition of 60+ countries, but they never bother to say which countries.

What are these coalition countries contributing to fighting ISIS? .....Oh, wait... Just remembered that Obama isn’t fighting ISIS, but Assad who generally protected the Christians in Syria.

US pilots have stated that 75% of their sorties are not given permission to bomb the enemies they have in their sights and return to base with no weapons deployed.

Obama doesn’t want to kill the enemy that his troop withdrawal from Iraq facilitated.

The MSM, along with the Obama regime, keep crowing about how the US air strikes are doing so much damage. But the videos they show are the strikes by RUSSIAN air strikes and cruise missiles... not US air strikes that hit empty buildings and a couple of vehicles. .........Pitiful
