Sad, but true.

In a republic in which the people as a body are sovereign, and our elected representatives are supposed to be merely the ministers of the sovereign.

Has “Government of THE PEOPLE, by THE PEOPLE, for THE PEOPLE” perished from the earth? Yes. Some time ago but we, in the hustings, are just now noticing.

Most likely it is too lat to fix it, as well.

I’m glad the Constitution and Bill of Rights was written before we got such “smart” people in the District of Corruption.
