Has it perished?

We’ll know sometime in the next year.

We'll know sometime in the next year.

If that is the deadline, we're probably dead. Because there is little indication that much will change for the better that soon, IMO.

I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think I am.

I hate to be a pessimist but, ‘next year’?

Do you see any clamor from the Congress (let alone the GOP/RNC) to restore any Rights, Liberty and/or Freedom they have taken from We the People?

Do you see the next President faithfully executing the Law, prosecuting the law-breakers (especially in govt)? Or, even rescinding each and every illegal EO?

Do you see the courts faithfully following the Constitution, basing their rulings and reading from the same instead of ‘precedent’ and their own ideals?

Hell, D.C. can’t even balance the budget, minimize the overlap and redundancy, let alone zero-out a SINGLE department/agency (they’ve been talking the DoEd for 30yrs+ for God’s sake).

Sorry, she died with Lincoln in all but name. Her bones were picked clean in the early 1900’s with the income tax, SS and Federal Reserve and her grave desecrated in the 1950-60’s with the welfare state, Voting Rights Act and the like. Long live the Republic.
