Jersey City Mayor Steve Fulop today ripped into Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump for saying he saw 'thousands of people' in Jersey City cheer when the World Trade Center was destroyed on Sept. 11, 2001.
"Trump is plain wrong, and he is shamefully politicizing an emotionally charged issue," Fulop said in a statement released this morning. "No one in Jersey City cheered on September 11."
The real-estate mogul and front-runner in the race for the Republican presidential nomination for president made his comments in Birmingham, Ala. He is calling for surveillance of some U.S. mosques

Maybe Trump was in Jersey City watching the same thing on TV that I was watching. Arabs partying like it was 1999.

Downtown Jersey City is right across the river from Manhattan. I had to stay there in 2009 because of an overbooking in NYC for a meeting that occurred during a convention.
As I walked off the subway in Jersey City towards a taxi stand to grab a ride to the Red Lion hotel, there were on the streets in plain view a contingent of very vocal radicalized Islamic persons doing what they do on their prayer rugs. They didn’t look friendly, they didn’t look at all like they were relieved to be in America. They looked like what most people fear, they had an ulterior agenda.
Very little doubt in my mind that such people would have cheered the 9-11 attacks.

Jersey City has been a suspect locality for some time now.
Kind of late to start on the rehabilitation of their reputation.
Muslims around the world–Palestinian Muslims on the streets of Ramallah, Palestinian Muslim Sunnis on the streets of Patterson, New Jersey, Shi’ite Muslims who were waiters and staff at a Middle Eastern restaurant in West Bloomfield, Michigan, Lebanese, Iraqi, and Iranian Shi’ite Muslims all over Dearbornistan. And, as I noted, the Pew Research Center notes that at least a third of these “American†(in name only) Muslims openly support Al-Qaeda and suicide bombings against Americans, which means they still celebrate.

It pays to remember that all these officials of governments and various churches who are promoting the resettlement of sharia-law adherents in our midst are receiving large sums of Federal monies to do so.
