When I was 5 I wanted an American Flyer train for Christmas. My dad said girls didn’t play with trains.(He was already teaching me to shoot a .410 shotgun, go figure) but my grandmother said if I wanted a train, I was going to get one. Grandmom bought me a beautiful Lionel. Loved that train.
