Up like a homesick angel.
Never saw his shows, not once.
UP
I shared the following in a YouTube discussion....
I had only a vague notion of him before this year, not positive or negative,
but the more I’ve learned and the more familiar I’ve become with him, the more I like him.
I’m only five years younger than him and I have a strong notion of how I want to be going forward.
I strive to be physically and mentally active to the greatest extent possible.
Never ceasing to go forward, always learning and using my life to express what I have learned.
When I began to see who Trump was, I saw that he embodies and mirrors what I am and want to remain....
not rich and famous, but a person, going into his later years, physically active...full of joyful ever-fresh life
with an energetic mental acuity, always curious, learning, building and striving forward.
I am inspired and encouraged by Trump.
...and later added this...
To have someone as President with vast executive experience, whose successful endeavors vastly out number his failures,
someone who, most importantly, is an American in thought and in his heart, who loves America
and doesn’t view it as ‘fundamentally flawed’ and needing to be ‘fundamentally transformed’,
appears to me to be exactly what the US needs at this point. He is not ‘right’ or ‘left’, he is American.
He is not paid for and beholden to the donor class. He is not part of the Uniparty.
He is not perfect, as a human he has flaws just as we all do, but I believe he will act in America’s best interests,
not at the Party’s, the Banks’ or the Chamber of Commerce’s behest.
I like Cruz as well and think he would be an excellent choice by Trump for VP.
Each of their qualities would enhance, compliment and inform the other’s.
Up. Way, way up. I did not realize he was a serious person and knew so much about the country and was so conservative.
I really like him now.
How bout neither.... I thought he was a pompous, self righteous a$$hole before and he’s only reinforced my opinion since then with every word that has come out of his smarmy mouth.
I know I’m pissing on the trumpeter swans fan club here, but mark my words...we will rue the day this man gets the nomination. He has brought attention to needed subjects and I love that he’s sticking his finger in the GOPe’s eye....but he embodies everything that we should NEVER put in the White House again...he is the (allegedly) Republican version of Obama.
Same, did not think highly of him before, do not think higly of him now. If he is the nominee will vote for him, if Jeb is the nominee I’m staying home.
if he runs as an independent and ruins BOTH his chance and the GOP’s of defeating Hillary- then He’ll lose my suppoort
Since I'm not a twit I guess I'm just out of luck...
