I’d like to point-out to you that ^deporting^ 11(+/-) illegal immigrants is an action of a Big-Gummint.
So on this specific topic, Trump is a proponent of an expansive government.
The other side of that coin is that Obamugabe has fast-tracked refugees from the Middle East that, ostensibly, cannot be deported.

I see an equivalency there, but...what to do?
Oh, wait! The Constitution provides for “common defense”, ne c’est pas?

You have presented nothing to challenge - you’re like a kid playing word games to avoid the obvious - you have no defense for the truth in the article..

The unions are gaga over him.

“Will the real Donald Trump please stand up”

This is an opinion piece, not gospel. This writer thinks he compromises; tomorrow he will be accused of being a dictator.

I can assure you, someone who campaigns for amnesty will certainly deliver it if elected. Someone who agrees for further de-industralization of the United States while campaigning, will deliver it if elected.

You know you could easily find out about the real Donald Trump if you took the time to read his books, watch his speeches, an read something other than the tripe you post day after day.

It is clear, from previous comments you have made, that your main objective is to save the GOP.

You have been concerned about it and said, (loosely quoted) "what about all the progress we have made with Governor-ships and at the local level?"

You evidently put party first and candidate second.

On the other hand, Trump supporters want to destroy the uniparty and use Trump as the battering-ram. So it is pretty clear you will never accept our reasons for supporting Trump or the truth about Trump.

So did George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. "Big" government has never been the issue. It's Constitutional vs. unconstitutional government, and right now the MOST constitutional thing is to build the wall, stop immigration, eliminate the national security threats.

You keep dodging. Who is your guy since your guy is out?

There’s not one policy decision with his name on it. So he’s a freelancer.

I go by his political past to judge his political bent - and he’s more Hillary than Reagan - by a long shot.

Bingo. I have yet to see anyone running for office whom has NOT been ‘BIG govt’ (in one way, shape or form).

GW was the quintessential ‘compassionate conservative’ and gave us TARP, DHS, TSA, Medicaid expansion, NCLB, etc.

We give the GOP the House/Senate and they can’t even de-fund PP, stop exec. amnesty, balance a budget, etc. Hell, they can’t even stop stabbing their own base in the BACK (ala Cruz/Paul filibuster...some help they got)!

Even if Trump would *ONLY* build a wall, he’d have done more than anyone in D.C.: DOING what he said he’d do.

General George Patton had a penchant for making outrageous statements too but I don't think you would have any objections with how he carried out his duties. He backed up his assertions and then some. The thing about Trump is that he said he is going looking for some new General Patton's.

Patton is already on the list.
