There is a video called “9/11: In Memorium, New York City” and one of Mayor Guiliani’s assistants talks in the video about the “loud pop” of the bodies hitting the cement.
I'm 99% certain that was the interview I saw back on 9-11-01. Guiliani's name was in my head earlier when I was typing that response. I almost said it was Guiliani who said it in that post but deleted it because I didn't trust my memory. Now at least I know why I had Guiliani's name stuck in my head, thanks!
I think this also goes to prove the point that the further we get from Sept. 11th, 2001 that people's memories change. That's certainly true in my case anyway. I can remember the high-level context, but not the low level details all the time. Breaks my heart that I'm forgetting these things.
