Didn't take long for this thread to disintegrate into a Trump vs. Cruz fans slugfest. Why can't we stick to the topic at hand?

If we had a competent, uncorrupted congress, Obama would be gone long before January 2017. I don't know we can hang on till then.

We should just discuss the issues, but it's very hard to find a Cruz thread these days without scrolling down three comments and seeing a trumpbof posting a comment similar to: "Cruz will make a good VP, AG or be great on SCOTUS."

Screw that! Ted Cruz is running for POTUS, he isn't in this for a constellation prize or to be Trump's VP or best bud. He's in it to win it! This race is tightening up, Carson is imploding and Cruz is sucking up his votes, Cruz and Trump are tied in Iowa and Cruz is surging at the right time with the best ground game in the race. Cruz has a great shot at this, he's just getting started!
