Assad is not the monster that Obama's propaganda machine has made him out to be. He's an eye surgeon by training and profession, lived in London for many years, is fully Westernized, and didn't even want to be president and was forced into it after his brother was killed.

Does in he engage in some tough things to try and keep a lid on Syria? Sure, but he is no where as bad as Saddam was, or the Iranian mullahs. If he is toppled, I guarantee that any successor would be far worse than he is.

And remember that this whole thing started when Obama, at the behest of Hillary Clinton, Samantha Power, and Susan Rice, jumped on board with the "Arab Spring," which opened the Pandora's box that can now not be closed.

What do Susan Rice and Samantha Power promotions mean for Syria policy? Probably not much
