Yes, I saw the similarity. But these bugs can be over an INCH LONG!................
So are the ones up here... maybe 3/4 inch or so avg - I don't think they are the same as the stink bugs down south, but the similarity caused the name to be borrowed.
They gather in droves on the south side of buildings as the days get colder, looking for full sun to stay warm... My back door is south facing, and I have a helluva time trying to keep them outside in the late fall.
