Setting aside the moslem aspect of this incident, am I the only one who is troubled by deputies posing as underage girls and exchanging racy messages with men?

Somehow this passes legal muster as not being entrapment, but I do not understand why it does. Where is the crime here? There was no underage girl ever involved. The real harm was to the taxpayers who were paying the salary of the pervert cop.

The very offensive nature of the intended crime causes people to look past questionable methods used. It did an objective good in this instance but we probably won’t like the precedent set at some point down the road, when it inevitably is extended.
