Read a review on it. Sounds like a nic gun, esp if you get a misfire youb get a second chance. Does it fire without the magazine? My LC9sPro does, and the only control is the slide stop; and every trigger pull the same. Good luck!

My only complaint about the LC9s is having to find a tool to push out the take-down pin for cleaning. The M&P Shield requires no tools. Still not bad compared to the pile of parts that comes off a 1911. I wanted the safety, so I opted for the LC9s instead of the LC9s Pro. The Tagua BH1 belt slide holsters are a nice fit for LC9s and M&P Shield. A Remora product is great for IWB CCW.

I researched them quite a bit. Probably went through 20-30 reviews.

No, it does not have a mag disconnect. You can fire without a mag in it.

I don’t like to have to mess with a safety for my carry guns. (My KelTec P11 doesn’t even have a safety. I carry my CZ-82 with the hammer down. It’s safe to do so with the CZ-82. I shoot the first shot DA and rest are SA.)

The PT111 has a trigger safety and a long trigger pull. Therefore, I think the manual safety is unnecessary. Like many people, I just won’t use it. I’ll carry and shoot it like a Glock.
