If reports coming out today are accurate, the Russians have FAC’s with the YPG in Northern Aleppo, and they are doing close air support for the Kurdish push toward the main Turkish border crossing at Azaz.

I read between the lines in a couple of articles that Hollande was none too thrilled by obama’s response to his requests for help in taking out ISIS.
It seems Putin and Hollande are going to lead, while obama WILL not.
This is not fiction. It just feels that way.
How come no mention of fighting global warming? Hollande learned all about the IS-Global Warming link from 0boz0 just 2 days ago. Has he forgotten already?

LOTS of chatter after the first French Airstrikes that the French were PO’d that the ISIS targeting Intel Obama gave them turned out to be abandoned sites already bombed by the Russians.

It feels funny to see major world crises, which directly affect us, but not seeing American leadership in response to the crisis.
It would create a major crisis in NATO, and likely result in the expulsion of Turkey from the alliance to save face.

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but in this fight, the French may do better with other allies. The leadership they hoped to find here is absent.
