Global average temperature anomalies (daily differences from normal) have not increased since 1996-97: Satellite Temperatures have been flat for more than 18 years now.
Has anyone taken a look at the differences between the limited number of surface temperature and satellite temperature measurements?
Multiple satellites each circle the globe every 90 minutes, taking hundreds of thousands of measurements, and providing global coverage. The data provide complete and accurate temperature data.
I would think that such a comparison would show that satellite temperature data are vastly superior to the limited and questionable ground measurement data.
