Russia Releases Video Of S-400 SAM Deployment In Syria, As Putin Issues Warning To Obama

"The S-400 is an air defense system.

The reason we didn't have the system in Syria is because we thought our planes were flying at high enough altitudes where a terrorist could not reach them, they don't have weapons capable of downing our planes at the altitude of over 3 or 4 thousand meters.

And We could never think that we could be stabbed in the back by a country we regarded as our ally. Our planes operated at altitudes of 5-6,000 meters and were completely unprotected against potential attacks from fighter jets. We could never imagine that that could be possible otherwise we would deploy such systems in the area protecting our bombers against possible attacks.

We never did it because we regarded Turkey as our friend, we never expected an attack from that side.

This is why we regard this attack as that of a traitor. But now we that this is possible, and we have to protect our planes. This is why we deployed a modern system, the S-400, it has a pretty long range and it's one of the most effective systems of this kind in the world. We will not stop there. If we have to we will also deploy our fighter jets in the area.

Bottom line:

Another direct engagement by a Turkish fighter will be its last, and in fact now that Russia is prepared we would not be at all surprised to see Russia cross into Turkish airspace on purpose just to provoke Erdogan to repeat the events from last week, only this time with the Russian ready and prepared to retaliate to any engagement. In fact, the odds of Russia doing just that in the next few days are especially high.

But while the reason behind the S-400 deployment was largely known to most, where Putin's press conference took an unexpected detour was what he said just around 20:30 in, when in not so many words, Putin effectively accused the US of leaking the coordinates of the Russian plane to Turkey, which was merely a hitman acting with the blessing of the Pentagon.

This is what Putin said:

"We told our US partners in advance where, when at what altitudes our pilots were going to operate.

The US-led coalition, which includes Turkey, was aware of the time and place where our planes would operate.

And this is exactly where and when we were attacked. Why did we share this information with the Americans? Either they don't control their allies, or they just pass this information left and right without realizing what the consequences of such actions might be. We will have to have a serious talk with our US partners."

I neither know, nor do I care is Barky is muslim. Certainly not in a “traditional” sense, if he is, he’s more of an adherent to a cross between Fahrakan’s “nation of islam” and Wright’s “black liberation theology.” His personal beliefs don’t interest me.

On the other hand, his actions DO interest me, and I don’t think there is any doubt that he’s both an islamic supremacist, probably brought about by spending his formative years in Indonesia, and a strong supporter of shia islamic beliefs, which probably explains his close ties to Valerie Jarret.

Claiming support of the “Arab Spring,” he’s used every opportunity to support the arab and muslim hard liners against more moderate and pro-Western populations. His actions include the support of the Iranian mullahs against the moderate population during the “Green Uprising” in Iran. And of course, the support of Iran against the rest of the Western world.

He and those with whom he surrounds himself have repeatedly shown incredible insensitivity to the victims of muslim oppression and terrorism, while portraying those same muslims as victims. He’s shown indifference, if not outright animosity towards Americans held hostage by both muslim countries, as well as foreign governments, while at the same time, supporting enemies of the USA, even breaking the law to release terrorists from Gitmo, to bring back the deserter, and to rub salt into the wound, having his designated liar claim Bergdahl “served with distinction,” while Obama allowed a Marine with PTSD to rot in a Mexican prison, never even bringing it up while Obama met with the Mexican president!

Obama has repeatedly demonstrated his strong dislike of America, and even the concept of America, from his obvious misunderstanding of the Constitution (claiming it’s a document of “negative rights,” as opposed to rules to protect people FROM an oppressive government!) to his outright attacks on Federalism. Even his selective enforcement of law, to his outright breaking of laws, over and over again, shows his feelings towards America, leading to his wish to “fundamentally change” the United States.

Putin is what Putin is. Until he flies Bears and Blackjecks here and bombs us, what he does to terrorists is his concern. We can applaud him when he does the correct thing.

Historical analogy isn't hard to find. He isn't half the devil Josef Stalin was, yet Allied leaders worked with Stalin against Hitler. Americans risked death to send aid to a nation run by a dictator who had arranged the Holodomor only a decade before. Stalin was in a class by himself, as mass murderers go.

Why would the Turks listen to Obama? No one else does.

“Historical analogy isn’t hard to find.”

Yup. But the problem is not so much that people don’t know that. They simply refuse to let fact and history cloud their narrative. Or for some, they are too liberal to accept history and let it inform them.

NATO? They may still be in lock down at their H.Q. Some goat sodemizer with a dirty bed sheet might be in the capitol city where they are based.

They can't protect themselves.

Never mind the rest of us.

Oh, I know you are adamant. But I can undermine your support by continuing to point out your inconsistencies, so I do it.

You must think that this is ALL Putin does? But even blind squirrels get acorns. Surely this is not the all excusing virtue, excusing things like the Crimea etc.

In the interest of consistency, are you also complicit with the return of the SouthWestern US to Mexico, or at least the unrestricted flow of those who wish to cross from Mexico to settle and reclaim it for the Spanish (language) ?

Between this shoot down of the Russian SU-24 and the islamification of Europe, Putin will get his dream of a dissolved NATO, and for our sakes maybe it should be as soon as possible.

Russia isn’t the Soviet Union, and NATO doesn’t have that existential threat to bind it together, so it is inevitable. Individual NATO members will have their national interests conflict and it will result in a beaurocracy with no will or resolve due to internal conflict, if not direct external issues such as this.

The article covers some good points and makes what I think is a solid prediction. The Russians are now likely to bait the Turks with quick incursions into Turkish airspace and then down Turkish aircraft as they respond.
On a side note, there is a net winner in this ugly event, and that is the Kurds. The Turks have announced that they have suspended their air campaign into Syria.

Barack & ISIS - vs - Syria & Russia

The Free Syrian Army is a John MeCain fantasy, they give up and join ISIS at the first hint of trouble. ..hundreds of thousands spent training only a relative few.

Iran is playing both sides, partnering with Obama to 'fight' ISIS and Putin when supporting its ally Syria.

Barack couldn't work his way out of a wet paper bad, on the other hand, Putin can and will work things out!

If it looks like Trump will win in November of 2016—Obama will cancel the election and appoint Hillary President—AND THE MEDIA WILL SUPPORT HIM! He will have the Supream Court back him up as well. That will be America’s last days as a Great Power. What will the people do? ZIP. As long as the Internet keeps humming, and The TV sets keep with the shows and the newspapers print how great Obama is...
