World View: Russia Accuses Turkey Of 'Industrial Scale' Oil Purchases From ISIS
Breitbart ^ | November 27, 2015 | John J. Xenakis

Posted on 11/27/2015 7:13:23 AM PST by Fennie

On Tuesday, after the Russian warplane was shot down by Turkey, Russia's president Vladimir Putin said:

ISIS has big money, hundreds of millions or even billions of dollars, from selling oil. In addition they are protected by the military of an entire nation [i.e.,Turkey]. One can understand why they are acting so boldly and blatantly. Why they kill people in such atrocious ways. Why they commit terrorist acts across the world, including in the heart of Europe.

Russia's Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev alleged on Wednesday that Turkish officials were benefiting from ISIS oil sales, while Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said it was no secret that "terrorists" use Turkish territory.

Great article yesterday by Tyler Durden at Zero Hedge that said Erdogens son Bilal is the bag man who runs the sale of ISIS smuggled oil...and this is our Ally who we are under NATO treaty to defend? Way to go Obama you are so far over your head we will be lucky to survive without World War 3 breaking out.
WAKE UP AMERICA you are being run by a crazy Muslim who wants us dead

Accuses them? It has been a known fact in the oil industry who is getting the oil. Not like it has been a secret.

Just so you know, "Tyler Durden" probably should be placed in quotation marks as "he" is a character in the 1999 movie, Fight Club.

The Obama Administration had to know about this ISIS oil to Turkey deal and did nothing to stop it. 1000 oil tankers can’t be hidden.

I agree, and say it often here. But why won’t anyone on mass media, even Rush, just say it as it is? Obama is a narcissist Muslim before all else. What other reason could there be for trying to get the MB in charge of Egypt, wrecking Libya, smuggling weapons through Benghazi, and playing footsie with Erdogan?

Cool heads better prevail. We’be got a real problem with Turkey. They no longer belong in NATO unless the current govt goes. Like Egypt we still have close ties with their military. They have been the guardians of modern Turkey. Another military take over may be necessary.

I’m not sure what the rule should be in this case.
“Tyler Durden” is a pseudonym used by all posters at Zero Hedge. Pseudonyms, moms de plume, and moms de guerre aren’t usually quoted, in cases where the true identity is generally unknown. One writes of General Leclerc (nom de guerre of de Hauteclocque) of the Free French forces, not General “Leclerc”. Or in an extreme case, Mark Twain, not “ Mark Twain”, in spite of everyone knowing he was Sam Clemens.
It is rather confusing.

The best propaganda is that which is absolutely correct and most inconvenient to the other side. In this case the Russians have a powerful point.

I agree about the quotation marks. My point is that a good number of FReepers don’t know Tyler Durden is a fake name. And the post to which I was replying left the suggestion that “he” is “singular.”

And now you know why Turkey shot down Russia’s airplane. They (Erdogan) were furious at Russia killing one of their cash cows.

Just so you know, "Tyler Durden" probably should be placed in quotation marks as "he" is a character in the 1999 movie, Fight Club.

At that website, "he" is the pen name for a cadre of 20 or so different people who post articles on economic and political issues.

There is no single person who is "Tyler Durdan". "He" is a collection of people.

It appears a resounding defeat in WWI and 90 years of secular Muslim rule was not enough to kill the Ottoman Empire.

The Empire is back.
