All the shoppers are already done. It is almost noon and none of the hood rats are out protesting because it is still too early and after all it is wet and cold.

I’ve always found that getting shopping done early avoids many of the people I like to avoid. When we had feeble attempts at BLM protests in neighboring Newark NJ, it was all about tying up the later commute - nobody was awake to disrupt the morning commute, and nobody had jobs that prevented them from disrupting the later commute.

A friend described how, when I asked how her company in Newark’s small downtown handled it, the employees were told to work from home. No disruption, and the city lost out on whatever business those employees brought to the city for that day. Modern technology has made the protest methods of 50 years ago obsolete - just as the protesters themselves are obsolete, with no role in a civilized, technologically advanced society. There is a demographic map online (with zoom features) that can make it fairly easy to avoid ever encountering a BLM protester (or any blood relative thereof).
