I know..
I am very disappointed in Cruz.
I know he has to stand his ground and say that “he”
will be the nominee, but that crack about “the real
conservative” was uncalled for.
Wait til Trump hears about that Cruz crack.
If nothing else, Trump can start off talking about crowd size.
The “conservative” label will have to be his campaign, that’s what he’s known for. And like Trump said, Cruz will have to go through him to get to the top.
But I think it’s a bad move if Cruz goes there, not his area of expertise.
Cruz has to do that to some degree otherwise what’s the difference between the two? The issue is will it make a difference. He can safely go on record saying he has a more conservative record. Where he may run into problems is if he tries to take Trump on directly on his positions. Cruz and Trump are big boys, they’ll do what they have to do. The question is how much damage is done to the one left standing. Trump probably can withstand the attacks better as he’s already been taking it from left and right, besides the media, and I think he probably enjoys it. The media hasn’t really teed up on Cruz...yet.
