Of all the calls they took there was only one democrat and two republicans who said they were not voting for Trump.
I knew some of the democrat callers would be for Trump but I was shocked at how many.
They also interviewed some of the attendees from the rally. One woman said she only came to make her husband happy and she is for Paul but all of the others were strong Trump supporters.
Two of them were school students who will be voting for the first time. They asked the students what they liked about Trump and one of them said he likes Trump because he is a doer instead of a talker and thinks Trump will actually be able to do what he talks about. Smart kid!
Just returned from the rally in Manassas. The only thing was it was in way too small a place — the place was packed to the gills and people just kept coming in and coming in.
I can’t believe for our area of Northern Virginia, that this was the best we could do to host Trump — then again, maybe the entrenched lib/GopE power elite in Northern Virginistan are blocking him from larger venues.
I was struck by the number of young people in the crowd — jumping up and down and wholly enthusiastic for Trump. Lots of old, young, black, white — very diverse crowd.
And the energy of Trump — amazing to see in person. He definitely does not behave or appear to be 69 years old. He was very natural — very off the cuff, but also very on message. Addressed the environmental wackoism, college students who can’t get jobs after they graduate, etc.
One thing you can tell — the guy loves what he’s doing, he’s having fun with it, he loves the crowd — and he’s entirely serious about this.
Unlike any other candidate, Trump supporters come from ALL different kinds of groups; old, young, in the middle, black white, Hispanic, every socio-economic class...he reaches EVERYONE with the intelligence to see reality.
