That is obscene. Taxpayers are flipping the bill for these early retirees.
I’ll bet they even have the audacity to tout each other at retirements and funerals as public servants who serve the people and deserve recognition ceremonies.
These wages are obscene starting with a Fire Chief at the bottom making $369K a year and probably eligible to retire at full pay with all benefits in 25 years.
The taxpaying public are the real servants / saps not these government employees being paid such obscene amounts. No wonder California is in trouble, and DC wants us to bail them out. Government hacks are breaking the bank.
