I certainly hope Delta, Green Berets, SEALs, and other combat units will be 50% female by decree. I wouldn’t want the military to discriminate against eligible soldiers or sailors based on something as trivial as upper body strength, physical endurance, or muscle mass.
The vast majority of the time, those qualities are not relevant to the task at hand, with rare exceptions lasting a mere few minutes (or hours at most) a handful of times in a career.
Let the gals have their own squads, teams, battalions, etc. Just think of the cute names, like “Seal Team V”, home of the split tails.
