There were two at the black SUV and a third they searched for. They went inside a church on live TV. There were dogs brought in. They found this person who ran away and he had nothing to do with the assault? One of the people in the neighborhood said that third suspect was dressed in military-style clothes as well.

It would be odd for them to go in and then out assuming the vehicle would be there. Presumably the third person was the getaway driver.
