Jim, I posted the following at Instapundit in response to a post by Ed Driscoll that was dismissive of Trump’s thought that we should consider shutting down immigration by Muslims:
“Let me explain something to you, Ed. We are at war with a murderous ideology. That ideology is Islam.
The recent shootings in San Bernadino shows there is not a whole lot of daylight between “moderate” and “radical” Islam.
Until the war with Islam ends, prudence dictates that we should not allow what amounts to a fifth column to enter the US.
You can scream xenophobia all you want, Ed, but, in the end, we are at war and war means that diplomatic niceties and tolerance go out the window.
I think we have had enough American murdered by Muslims at this point. Unless you think we need to sacrifice more Americans in the name of being “welcoming.”
You are 100% correct... except, the war will never end. The Koran commands them to fight until Jesus, yes Jesus—the Muslim Jesus—comes back and leads the final glorious battle where the Muslims kill every last Jew and Christian on earth.
