It would be nice if Cruz was able to sell himself rather than FR become the dumping ground for every blog post extoling his omnipotence.

That is rich coming from a Trump supporter.

Talk about hypocrisy.

Sir, my mission is to counter the trumpees are wearing blinders and do think he was born in a manager and walks on water and totally ignore his gazillions of policy changes and fairly recent money to clinton foundation etc. There does need to at least a small dose of balance, don’t you think?

Cruz has sold himself to the top 2 or 3 in most polls and to a strong and growing ground game and powerhouse endorsements in Iowa.

You are obviously NOT listening to Ted’s interviews, townhail meetings, etc. Okay, so you don’t like him. He can sound s a little canned, but that is more because he KNOWS so many details, knows the Constitution, is a staunch believer in telling the truth, etc. Cruz is all over the place giving policy statements, talking about issues....so if you really want to hear HIM sell himself, then LISTEN.

It would be nice if Cruz was able to sell himself rather than ...

There are about 460 billionaires in the U.S., topping out at $78 billion in Bill Gates. Trump is about 130 on the list, valued at $3.9.

According to Forbes magazine on June 16, 2015 in "Trump Exaggerating His Net Worth In Presidential Bid," Trump claimed his net worth was nearly $9 billion, but Forbes, which has been "tracking Trump's net worth in great detail" since 1982, says it's $4.1 billion, a few mil more than the list linked above -- but what's a few million among friends?

To Forbes, after all, Trump is just one guy among more than 38 dozen U.S. billionaires. Other than his splashy celebrity, Trump is kind of third level among presumably brilliant business minds.

But Americans are conditioned to think he's really something! Trump has not only sold America, but he has sold himself on his media brand. When he announced his bid for president and claimed he was worth more than double Forbes' estimation, he said:

"I'm proud of my net worth. I've done an amazing job. We need a leader that wrote 'Art of the Deal.'"

Forbes noted in the article that when they come up with a fair market valuation of his assets, Trump is among the resources they turn to. Trump "consistently pushes for higher net worth -- especially when it comes to the value of his personal brand."

A prime-time TV show and a self-improvement inspiration books were turned to by Trump to make him famous for his business savvy. He literally used the MSM to build trust.

And in the irony of all ironies, conservatives -- people who pride themselves on how savvy they are to the ways of the MSM -- are trusting Trump because of the MSM.
