Trump won’t be the nominee for the GOP.

What happens after that, I don’t know.

It has precedent.

Any organization that in anti-constitutional and plans to overthrow our government is illegal. Thus fascists are regularly exiled when discovered living within the USA.

Christians are not opposed to liberty. Islam definitely is such a beast.

I’m glad I never started listening to him.

But Trump has never advocated banning or exiling anyone, unless you count deporting illegals as “exiling” Mexicans. He’s only talking about keeping potentially dangerous foreigners out who have no right to be here in the first place.

Sir (or Maam). Go to a comment section in say, CNN.

There a great many people who want to ban and imprison Christians who don’t support Gay marriage, abortion, global warming, and a host of issues. They have been talking for years that Christians, conservatives, whites, heterosexual men, etc are a bigger threat to the world than anything else.

The current President is among those.

Why do so many here rush to had them the tools to do what they always have wanted to? The point isn’t about islam. The point is once you give the Fedgov the power to ban and imprison over religion or ideology, they will use it in ways we can’t imagine today.

Case in point, the NSA used the Patriot act as a justification to spy on all electronic and phone messages of US citizens. Few though about that in the post 9/11 days (I didn’t). I am not going to support an even bigger power grab now.

It isn’t about Trump. It is about the people in the Beltway who will be there after him. We as citizens need to stop running to the Fedgov to solve problems. They are not interested in stopping islamic terrorism. They never have been in my life time. They ARE very interested in changing what is acceptable to believe here, and are hungry for the tools to do so.
