Your reference to Trump’s past statements as indicative of his lack of sincerity is unsupported in context.

Rather than go into the few instances where Donald erred, and eventually corrected himself, I will repeat a baseball analogy that people can readily grasp.

Babe Ruth was known to swing and miss at pitches. The reaction of the fans of the opposing team was euphoria. A second swing and miss would be followed by jubilation. Then a pitch would come where Babe would literally knock the cover off the ball and send it sailing over the home run fences.

So what’s the point? The point is that Donald does not bat 1000, but he’s one of the most awesome players to ever go to bat for America.

And lastly, you should never put stock in a what a candidate SAYS, you should put stock in that they DO. If what they say floats your boat, then Rand Paul or Carly Fiorina would be your pick because their scriptwriters know exactly how to push the buttons of conservatives, yet each is either a corrupt weasel or an incompetent excuse maker.

He has erred on every single issue of importance for the better part of his life (except he has always supported the military). He corrected himself when? This year? Last year? Some issues he has changed his mind on since this past September (Syrian refugees). As a liberal Democrat until late in his life he was, by default, wrong on everything.

And lastly, you should never put stock in a what a candidate SAYS, you should put stock in that they DO.

Has any other candidate voted correctly on more bills than Cruz? Is that not action? Rubio talked a great game to get elected and his actions proved him to be a RINO. Cruz doesn’t have that moniker.

What has Trump done to advance a conservative agenda? Not words, actions? He can drum up a crowd and tell them what they want to hear. That’s a homerun?

None of these folks can think their way out of a paper bag.

Trump had a $3-$10 billion dollar enterprise on the line, and 22,500 employees that depended on him being in good stead with political figures.

His main business operation was in New York, and these knuckle-draggers can’t fathom that donations in New York might involve Democrats.

For heaven’s sake, who dresses these people?

Trump didn’t spend 100% of his time in politics. He wasn’t an expert.

When he did decide to run, he decided to go Right instead of Left. That’s what we want people to do, and this doesn’t make them happy.

Well, in a few weeks Ted’s Excellent Adventure will be played out. Maybe we can get back to some sanity around here.
