Statistically, you are in a very small minority. Faithful Cubans are mostly Catholic.

And that is what Trump is saying, that it’s true that not a lot of evangelicals come out of Cuba.

Why did he say it? Because he was before a crowd where evangelicals are strong and he’s promoting himself while drawing a distinction with an opponent that recently started ti attack his character. It doesn’t matter if the object is Ted Cruz, whenever anyone attacks Donald, he will respond in kind.

Donald warned 2 weeks ago after assuring crowds that he very much likes Ted Cruz and that they agree 100% on everything, he warned that it may be necessary to go to war with Ted if Ted attacks or approaches his lead in the race.

The thing for Cruz supporters and Trump supporters is to not allow the scumbag media to play one against the other. If a person supports Cruz, congratulate them for making an informed choice. If a person supports Trump, do the same. If one supporter attacks another supporter, tell them to hold their fire and not allow the media to play them as fools, because the media as minions for democrats and establishment republicans want to see Trump and Cruz damage each other. Don’t let them have that.

I was thinking it might have something to do with how hard it is in Commie Cuba to be an evangelical. It makes sense, if like you said, most faithful Cubans are Catholic.

I guess they don’t crack down as hard on Catholics, as evangelical Protestants?

What’s the distinction?

Please provide proof of Ted Cruz attacking Trump's character.

You won't find it because it doesn't exist. Furthermore, you are either purposefully, or just plain emotionally, confusing a statement that Ted made about the CAPABILITIES of Trump, not his character.

“And that is what Trump is saying,”
I just don’t have your imagination. I’m doomed to only support people who say things and do things that make sense. I just can’t imagine people doing and saying things they’ve never said and done.

Good post, I agree.

But, I think this latest remark by Trump won’t help him at all. It seems inappropriate and frankly somewhat bizarre. It could easily end up a plus for Cruz.
