“According to the Houston Chron, Cruz has gotten big bucks up to $25 million dollars to fund his campaign and his Super Pacs from the oil and gas industry while at the same time saying he wants to end oil subsidies...)

IIRC, only small independent producers receive any form of government subsidy (in the absolute definition of the term) so to cover their exploratory / start up costs.

If Cruz is stating his desire to end “oil subsidies,” then he is in danger of giving the appearance of parroting Obama’s crusade against oil production.

Right. Obama had a big push in 2012 to end oil subsidies and I'm pretty certain so does Hillary. Strange bedfellows and all.

Just a note, Cruz is also at odds with one his a key Iowa supporter Rep Steve King who is for RFS ethanol.
