"Actually, a lot of conservatives here are “going off that cliff,” so I think we outnumber Cruz’s supporters."

You'd be wrong in that assumption. Trump supporters tend to be the loudest, but there are plenty of Cruz supporters who communicate by Freepmail without getting into the fights on the forum.

Also, Cruz usually wins the FR monthly straw polls.

However as far as I'm concerned, I don't care how many people are for Trump. My principles are not negotiable.

" Don’t get me wrong, Ted is my second choice, but the media has been demonizing him for a couple of years now, so I think it’s too late for him to win. At least with Trump, he doesn’t care what they say about him and is able to go over the media to get his message to the people."

This demonstrates you know little about your second choice, and you're in denial about your first. Trump dived into a months-long grudge match after Megyn Kelly ticked him off. He flails, yells, and engages in Twitter wars. Don't confuse loudness with effectiveness. The man is incredibly thin-skinned.

And if you think the media would ignore his liberal past, if he became the nominee, you're deluding yourself. It would be open season. As it will be on Cruz. The difference is that Cruz knows how to handle himself.

Newsflash: the founder of this conservative site is rooting for Trump. Are you going to insult his intelligence, as well as that of many other fine freepers, merely because we don’t agree with your choice?

You got that right. I can see the Hillary ads right now pointing out how she already has Donald Trump's endorsement in the form of past campaign contributions.

They are both in favor of partial-birth abortion, taxing the rich [sic], and socialized medicine. Why take the Democrat pretending to be a Republican when you can have the real thing?
