Agreed. The simple fact remains that we can't call ourselves conservatives if we're going to pay lip service to principle for three years and abandon it in the fourth for whatever shiny, loud thing pops up.

We've hoped and prayed for a solid Constitutional conservative. Remember how excited the forum was for so long, anticipating Cruz would run for president? Well, it happened. And some of us promptly threw him aside for a liberal celebrity.

If we don't wake up, we will have a disaster on our hands, and we will deserve everything we get.
