It’s a sad day when the best thing you can say about a religion is “They aren’t ALL terrorists...”
Islam is not a religion, it is a full-blown ideology, about as well-rounded as the Japanese Bushido Code or the Communist Manifesto.
Just make the pretty direct assumption that a “moderate” Muslim is “peaceful” only so long as the inner Jihadist is not stirred up.
And apparently that could happen at any moment, as evidenced by the relatively quick conversion of Syed Farook. Awakened apparently some time ago, but goaded into action only very recently.
The suicide mission aspect only kicked in at the urging of his new spouse, Tashfeen Malik. It is not clear how they ever envisioned being able to enjoy their “victory”.
