And I am sure Trump is happy it all went down the way it did. This is an election after all, and those two were eventually going to have to come head to head.
So far I don’t mind any of the back and forth, and to be honest Trump was FAR worse to Carson(Which I did think was low.)

I don’t know about that. Trump said Cruz isn’t qualified to be president. Did he say that about Carson?
Show a quote where Cruz denied it. He just said he was not going to get into a discussion about what was said at a private fund raiser. I think Trump has illustrated his own issues with judgment this week by getting into a conflict with Netanyahu and calling the Saudi prince “dopey”. He can’t seem to get along with our allies.
I don’t really call saying something in a private gathering that one or two people decided to take public “starting” anything.
You can say all day long that he shouldn’t have said it. But then conversely you’d have those people saying, “If he wants to win he’s going to have to take on Trump at some point.”
So all that is whatever at this point.
This is a fight Trump cannot win. Attacking Ted Cruz using far left talking points is going to go down a treat. All Trump has done is help bump Ted Cruz’s poll numbers to the highest they have ever been. Just keep them dumb attacks coming Donald.
