Secretary of State John Kerry said Sunday he does not believe that "the American people, who predominantly do believe in what is happening with climate change," will elect a president who does not "understand climate change" or is not committed to the type of global agreement reached in Paris.
"I think, frankly, a lot of members of Congress are on the wrong side of history, and I don't believe you can be elected president of the United States if you don't understand climate change and you're not committed to this kind of a plan," Kerry told ABC's "This Week" from Paris, where delegates at the weekend approved a new global climate accord. ...

Instantly reminded me of the best line in Michael Crichton's book Jurassic Park that was mysteriously left out of the movie:
Some things are better left extinct.
Among Crichton's last books, come to think of it, was State of Fear "a 2004 techno-thriller novel by Michael Crichton in which eco-terrorists plot mass murder to publicize the danger of global warming."
I'll take the informed opinions of people like this late author, who didn't buy this insidious alarmism, or that of Dr. Harrison Schmitt, the twelfth man (and only professional scientist) to set foot on the Moon, over that of the sclerotic Secretary, any day of the week.
Same sides of the same coin really.
And super duper kudos for the word sclerotic! Whatever that means.
I hope it has nothing to do with gerbils.

It would be great to be able to show the hypocrisy of the Sahara Club, but there needs to be facts to back it up.
