Yeah, I caught that, too.

The timeline confused me at first. If an explosive cache was discovered in the local area in October...
1. Why were the phone-buyers released two months later w/o questioning?
2. Why were muzzies buying phones to detonate an empty cache? In other words, the emptied cache is a shuttered barn post-horse.
3. In light of #2, there are more IEDs out there en masse. So why the police reluctance to interrogate?

These phones were stolen simply for resale abroad. However, most of the money goes to terrorist organizations such as ISIS and is one of their big funding sources.

No, he couldn’t. He was an O supporter.

I knew what ya meant though. :)

Yeah, it could be concerning. I’ve never seen a Walmart with that many phones available at any time.

Hold them long enough to put GPS trackers on their cars and possibly their personal effects.

Let them go and track them back to the nest.

So this makes sense ... but only if it’s what was really done.

We need to perceive Mosques the same way we perceive large groups of bikers! Breeding grounds for hate and criminality...

Speak for your own stupid self. I'm seeing plenty of biker hate here, that's for sure.

When was the last time bikers blew up an airliner, crashed a plane into a tall building, shot up a theater?

That comparison has no rational basis.

You might perceive large groups of bikers that way, But you have been in front of a TV and not at Rolling Thunder, or even a local toy run.

if they catch you with a large roll of cash, they seize it and you have to fight to get it back. But they won’t do that with a large cell phone buy. I guess we know which side the just-us system is on.

Is it me, or are we dealing with the Keystone Cops here? Wouldn’t it make better sense to not broadcast this, but to try and wait until the owners came to pick it up?

One thing is for sure. Gov’t=Inefficiency=Ineptness=waste=other bad things

Someone like Trump who has the attention to getting people in place to make things more efficient, can really turn things around.

I’d like to see efficiency to the point that gov’t becomes synonymous with things running better. I mean, can the private carriers move the mail better than the post office can? Can Private carriers make Amtrak better? Do we need all these do nothing depts. like Interior, EPA, Education, Energy etc. What do they do?

“Officers found a huge cache of “extremely volatile” explosives, which police described to be of a style “that could not be purchased for recreational use.” This suggests that the extensive supply was all homemade pipe bombs or other IEDs, created and collected with a specific plan in mind”

It’s not clear from this what the extremely volatile explosives are. It could be anything from meth lab ether to nitroglycerin to old dynamite to weapons or engineering explosives stolen from Ft. Leonard Wood.

I need more information before I’ll believe jihadis are behind this.

Oh, and this part -

“This suggests that the extensive supply was all homemade pipe bombs or other IEDs, created and collected with a specific plan in mind.”

- is pure bombastic speculation.

Need lots more info.

I’d call these muslims stupid for trying to buy so many cellphones at once.

But given that we weren’t able to do anything about it, even with law enforcement involved, we really aren’t any smarter.

Missouri - not surprising when you think about what was going on at the colleges there...Islamic Terrorists consider this a sign of weakness to target within the Great Satan.

I know several convenience store owners who shop at WM, Sam's, etc and just resell what they get. This is probably completely innocuous.

However.... Setting the "4AM" and "Middle Eastern" bits of this story aside, as they're just intended to inflame opinion ... I'd think that the purchase of 60 burner cell phones would raise an eyebrow or two at the FBI. A quick visit / phone call to check shouldn't surprise anyone.

I'll build up a strawman for people to knock down... It's 4am. There's a guy you don't recognize coming out of the back door of the house 3 doors down from you and he's carrying a large screen TV. Now, it could be perfectly legal and legitimate. It's entirely possible that you have eccentric neighbors who like to hire people to take their TVs for a walk in the middle of the night. Or maybe they work 3rd shift and can't move it any other time. But wouldn't you (or a cop) want to stop and ask what was going on?
