Based on his comments regarding Cruz in the senate, Trump was teaming up with McConnell, McCain e.t.c. to denounce what Cruz has been doing in the senate. In fact Trump used a variation of McCain's label of "whacko bird" that he used on Cruz.
Trump further suggested that Cruz should not vocally stand against the establishment.

Trump fans on this “conservative” site refuse to believe Trump is not a conservative. He is conservative on a few issues that resonate.

Calling McConnel a liar on the Senate floor not the best place. But ok, McConnell hatred makes that ok. I hate McConnell too but that doesn’t make Cruz a hero for using the Senate floor for politics, simply makes him another Harry Reid.
As far as Trump goes, did anyone think he could single-handedly accomplish everything he wants to do without Congress? He’s talking about Cruz’s relationship with Republicans, not Democrats.
I used to like Cruz but with all his posturing, I’m about done.
